Grissom Air Base and Museum

Today, we headed on down to Kokomo, Indiana, and along the way, stopped over at the Grissom Air Base Museum. The field is named after astronaut Gus Grissom, who is from around here somewhere. The field is a retired Air Force Base, and is used for KC135 air tankers. They had a nice little museum with lots of interesting displays, and about 25 aircraft sitting out in a field. Got three pins here, including a nicer Blue Angels pin that we didn't get in Pensacola! Also got a new Marine Corps pin I hadn't seen. From here, we're headed on down to Kokomo, so Bette can go to the stained glass factory at Kokomo glass, and some other things to see and do.
