Regional Champions for the 4th year in a row!

Ware Shoals slammed our arch-rival 96 High School last night, 44-33 to pick up our 4th straight regional championship in a row. It was a wonderful game. We came back from a 1st quarter deficit of 20-8 to score 32 unanswered points and win going away. We now start the quest for a state championship, and play the first round of the playoffs in a week I believe. Not sure who the opponent will be. Cooper worked hard all year as a ball/water boy and enjoyed his experiences and being able to be on the sidelines with his heroes.

We got the sad news yesterday of the passing of the wife of Bette's former boss, Libby Johnson of Newberry. She passed suddenly in her sleep. The viewing will be this Sunday, and the funeral will be on Monday. Our thoughts are with Tommy, his children, and the grandchildren. Libby was a gracious hostess. It was my pleasure to photograph both of their children's weddings.

We are excited that our getaway tn North Carolina is approaching quickly. We'll leave next Tuesday after voting and try to be up at Advance by after lunchtime. The weather appears to be on our side and should be in the 70's during the day, and not too awful cold at night.
