Run around days

Yesterday and today were runaround days. We drove 40 miles over to Laurens County Hospital to do pre operation work up for my nose operation next Monday. What a complete example of bureauocracy at its best, and why the hospital system costs millions of wasted dollars. It took me 4 hours, three interviews, and two floors of running around, having blood taken, and proving that I had insurance, so they wouldn't have to worry about who was going to pay the salaries of all the minions that I had to deal with. What a croc. I'm surprised that they will be able to get the operation done in an organized matter.
We then headed down to Newberry to stop by Old Newberry Federal now First Community, to see about some financial things, ate at Subway and then over to the Opera House to give Debbie Smith a hug for her award winning on Sunday. Then back to Lander to pick up my laptop that had crashed, then to the house.
Cooper and I headed over to Lander to do our workout, he is dead serious about his workouts. He shot hoops for a half hour, then right to the gym to work on his dumbbells and universal machines.
Then over to the Soccer grounds to see Brandon play, they lost I think 5-3. Brandon played well and scored a goal.
This morning, we went to Self hospital to drop off a sample from Bette to make sure she has no lingering bugs in her system, then to Wal Mart for supplies and food, then a nice breakfast at Cracker Barrel.
On the way to Lander to teach my classes for the afternoon. With the laptop being in the hospital all weekend, I am now behind, so we'll have to play catchup.
We have been invited to Missouri to see sister Sherry for a visit, we may just drive now, we had contemplated flying, but that is a hassle as far as the schedule is concerned, having to leave GSP at 5:55 am and then leaving Springfield late and not getting back until 1100 pm or later to GSP, so we may just drive. Sherry, if you're reading this, I'll be calling, to see what dates are good.
Weather is totally beautiful, low 80's in the day, 50's at night, low humidity, perfect Carolina fall weather.
To Dan and Kippy on the road, take care on your travels tomorrow to the Other Indiana, and Bette thanks you so much for your thoughtful gift. Love to both of you, hope to see you soon.
Can't wait to get back on the road!!!!
