Ware Shoals 38, Dixie 11. We handled them. Big time. We are now 3-4, and on schedule to move on to the State Championships. During the game, I realized that the head umpire was my old friend Todd Johnson, with whom I served with on the Sheriff's office, and also on the crew was Hubert Kinard, who was a colleague at Mid Carolina High school. Fun night! Nice to chat with them both at half time. We had planned to go to Columbia today to go to the State Fair, but the weather is against us. Rainy and windy outside. We may just go to the movies.
