Tomorrow is the start of the fall semester at my second home, Lander University. I'll be teaching three classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I'm full in two of the classes, with 20 students each, and I have 9 in the third class. For some reason, they have me in three different classrooms this semester, which is a minor hassle, but I can deal with it, I guess. I'm actually looking forward to seeing my students again.Bette continues her slow but quick recovery, simply a matter of time, I think.
Today was a lazy day with the boys, we went over to Lander for breakfast, which was terrific, then we went back to the basketball courts for a work out then they hit the big outdoor pool. We went to the Japanese steak house for a grilled lunch which was filling. I had shrimp and Bette had her steak.
The big hurricane was thankfully not a big blow, guess NOLA dodged a bullet. Hopefully the two campgrounds we visit often there, Styx River and Abita Springs didn't get damaged.
