Today was Cooper and my's "alone time" So, we decided to head on over and down to Gloucester, Mass, the oldest seaport in the US. Lobstermen and others have been leaving the port of Gloucester since 1623, just after the US was settled in these parts. This port of course, was the home port of the crew in the movie "The Perfect Storm", leaving port to never return. Actually several hundred fishermen have left port, not to return, sadly. The Andrea Gale was just one of the many ships to go down. The film was shot around and in the dock areas that we drove around today. On the way home, we got smashed yet again by another bad series of rolling thunderstorms, such that we had to slow down to 30 mph to keep from hydroplaning off the road. What fun! Gloucester, Mass, then a gullywasher
