We drove on down to Lowell Mass and got in early since it was a hat giveaway day, and got great seats in Section 111, right behind home plate, for $7.00.
There was a sellout, and we were told that they sell out most every game. The Spinners are the short summer A team for the Red Sox. Several of the players had just been drafted, or come out of college to start their careers. It sort of showed, the Spinners 3rd baseman had like 4 errors in the game. Lowell scored a run in the bottom of the 8th inning to win the game. 
The stadium is very nice, right on the banks of the Merrimac River, and is actually part of the UMass Lowell campus. Lots of fun!
We got a pin, a baseball for the collection, and a keychain, and Cooper got a mini-bat.
