Saturn's fixed; Today: The National Basketball Hall of Fame

Today, we headed over to Springfield, Mass, to the home of the National Basketball Hall of Fame. It's a pretty impressive three story edifice, with two floors of displays, and the bottom floor which contains a big basketball court. The guys spent almost 2 hours doing all the interactive things they had to do, and shooting hoops. We then went to McDonalds for lunch. A fun thing to do.

The Saturn is safely back with us- $445.00 later. The headlight was replaced, turned out about four or five other lights were not operating properly either, so they were fixed. We had the tires rotated, and had an alignment, and a front tie rod replaced, and one or two other things. Rides much better, so we hope we won't be in the shop for the Saturn for a while, we've spent about $1500 since January. It's been a pretty faithful car, with 77,000 road miles, and about 115,ooo altogether including towed miles, so we should be happy with our $6500 investment.
Think tomorrow we will do Six Flags New England. The weather is decent, and it seems like a good day to knock that off our list.
Monday, we head over to Moody Beach, Maine.
