June 10th After not much sleep, downtown Seattle today.

Today started off sunny, but then it rained a bit, then heavily, then cleared off, then rained some more, we ate here at the tiny house, then headed downtown (29 miles) to Pikes Place Market, famous for the fish slingers.  We found a very expensive place to park!  ($14.00!)

Took a movie of the fish slingers, but internet here is too slow to upload a 5.5 Mb file.
Stopped in a bought a pin from the market for Seattle.
Then, we found a cheap parking space (3.00) for the space needle.  When we waited for a half hour to get to the top, then walked around.  It's under reconstruction, so the observation deck is half finished.  It was fairly clear, shot these photos:

Century Link Field and Safeco Field in the distance and the wheel.

Then to a wonderful exhibit, Chihuly Glass and gardens, part of the city pass deal:

Saw these plates today, plus about 6 others including DC, and BC from Canada.

Then we tried to go to the Pop Culture Museum, but changed our minds.  Then 29 miles home.  I ate a hot dog at the store, Cooper a hamburger, and Brandon didn't eat, so we saved some money.

Tomorrow, we are planning to head to the Aquarium and the Zoo, and maybe a harbor cruise, if time permits, then Tuesday, is a mad stamp rush of National parks and lighthouses.
