Stopped at Waffle House for breakfast, then 147.6 miles up to Charlotte Douglas Airport, got there at 1030, plenty of time to clear TSA and eat, as our plane didn't take off until 1301. We had a 900 series plane, and were in the very last row!
Our flight waiting to leave:
As it is nowadays, not an empty seat to be found:
We got to Detroit quickly:
Here is our Alaska Air flight ready for loading: few empty seats on this leg.
Uneventful short trip to DFW, then changed to an Alaska Airlines flight of some 4 hours to Seattle. Got in a tad bit early. Soupy and a bit choppy over.
As we arrived, poor Cooper's luggage didn't. They said they would deliver it, but failed, so we had to go fetch it the next morning: he was not a happy camper!
Then, a 29 mile jaunt to our Air bnb place, a tiny house!
the kitchen |
Brandon and Coop's sleeping loft |
My bed |
the bathroom |
the tiny closet!
Tomorrow if the weather cooperates, we head to downtown, the space needle, the chihuly glass and gardens, and the Pike Street Market!
