June 7th 3 parks and up to Flagsaff today.

May have planned too ambitiously for today.

For the day: 239.8 miles 4:50 travel time.  Max speed 84!  The I-17 speed limit was 75, and there is no cruise control in the rental..... 

First was going to be Fort Verde, but may pass on that- then Montezuma Castle NM, which will be park #300!  Then, a fish hatchery, may pass on that- the Tuzigoot NM, then Sedona then Walnut Canyon NM then our hotel.  There is also the Northern Arizona University campus to get. 


1458 Update 

We are currently at the Econolodge at Flagstaff AZ.  Did drop Fort Verde and the Fish Hatchery, did get Jailhouse Jim's Tee shirt from Sedona, did get to the Red Rock Visitor Center and Montezuma Castle and Tuzigoot.  Leaving in a minute to get to Walnut Canyon NM, and possibly Northern Arizona Univ.  More later. 

1756 Update:

Did make it out to Walnut Canyon NM- then stopped in at NAU- no pin- tees too expensive.
Stopped at Wal-Mart for provisions

First stop of the day was Montezuma Castle:

 

 



 Then up to Tuzigoot:

Then over to Red Rocks VC for the Cococino  NF stamp

Then to the Motel,

Then to Walnut Canyon

Tomorrow's plans are Sunset Crater NM, Wupatki NM, then to Page AZ., may or may not make some stops- then on to Kanab Utah.
