June 6th Metro Phoenix today...

Easy day today- first a revisit down to Casa Grande Ruins NM in Coolidge AZ for some missing stamps, then a couple of local stops- University of Arizona, the State Capitol and then tonight, we have a Diamondback baseball game!

Got down to Casa Grande Ruins quickly, about 44 miles or so.

1430 Update:

Rested a bit when I got back from Coolidge, then Coop and I went up on the Campus of Arizona State Univ.  Large, large school!   Had to park in parking garage to get to bookstore- got a ASU sun devil pin.

After ASU, we headed to In-and-Out Burger for lunch!!!!

Then a few miles downtown to the Arizona State capitol building:  got the capitol stamp, but of all the scbs I've seen this one was one of the ugliest.  Did get three pins though.  Loads of markers and memorials....  separate post on those. 

May take a nap, then tonight is Diamondbacks vs Padres.  We scouted out parking for the game. 

2117 update:

Left for the game at 5pm, short ride to the found parking lot, cost 8.00 to park. 
We left in the 4th inning, as the DBacks were ahead 10-1.  Beautiful venue!  The DBacks won 10-2.  Stated attendance was 25,883- also noted that the temperature inside the dome was 80 degrees.
