October 2nd Up to Ajo to explore around.

First started to look for the post office in Why- but there wasn't one.  We did stop at the local famous Why Not convenience store, which was where the GPS said the post office was.
Then, in order, we headed to the Post Office, then stopped in at the DirecTV place, which wound up not being a DirectTV place, just Dish, then finally on to Olsen's for grocery shopping.  Will certainly miss the Wal Mart, but we're 91 miles away.

Ajo has lots of nice murals around. This is the Ajo Copper News building.
Ajo, AZ is an amazing town that was designed by a copper mining company and has history. Local owner Hop David, publisher of the Copper Newspaper, put up a mural of local landscape, people, animals and music -- "Riders in the Sky" -- on the front of the building. There also is a mural on a bakery of the movie filmed in Ajo called "Night of the Lepus." Many of the businesses and homes in the town are decorated with artwork.
