May 25th On to Beaufort SC

Broke camp about 0930, then 69.6 miles to Beaufort SC and Tuc in de Woods CG.  Be here for 5 days, to do some stamping, and the Gullah-Geechee Festival, and see old pals.  Scheduled a Sat nite dinner with Barry Johnson and Jane Fender. 

Max speed:  66 mph- mov avg 39 Overall avg 29  Total trip time:  2:23.

Saw a decent wreck on I-95 just as we got on in Savannah, an 18 wheeler hauling autos was on the side of the road, but had a good deal of skill, he didn't turn his load over!  Saved it! 

Be heading out soon after lunch to get the Reconstruction Era NM stamps.  That will be park number 298!
