Against better judgment, we made it to Hershey PA at 9:45 tonight. Here are the rules we broke:
1. Don't drive at night.
2. Don't drive at night in unfamiliar cities or campgrounds.
3. Don't make reservations online five miles from the campground.
4. Don't try to set up in the dark, especially on a soggy, unlevel site.
5. And probably a few more unwritten rules, the least of which is never to travel more than 4-5 hours a day- we were 14 or so all told by the time we pulled in.
Anyway, we're here, ahead of schedule. Good for us. We'll for sure move tomorrow to a vacated or better spot here in the H section, they said about 20 or so were scheduled to pull out tomorrow. Park As far as Hershey Park goes, we'll probably do the night 4 hour then all next day deal they have tomorrow night. And we'll content ourselves with swimming, etc until 5 pm or so, so the park until 9, then do the park all day Wednesday. That leaves us Thursday night for York Revolution baseball. It's a plan.
