October 5th More chores in Ajo, and a trip to the Why pyramid...

First the pyramid, right across the street.

Why Pyramid

A pyramid rises from the Sonoran Desert on the east side of Hwy 85 just north of the intersection of Hwy 86. There are a myriad of man-made and natural pyramids throughout Arizona, but I cannot answer the question, "Why the Pyramid in Why, Arizona?" The structure towers 10-15 feet above the desert floor and appears to be build of bricks. [Phrank Phester, 02/27/2017]

Off to do laundry after Bette eats, then to the clinic for Bette's inhaler.

We also located a local RV repair shop, who said he thought he could help us with the antenna install.  We are going to try to hook up the TV with the portable Direct dish we have this afternoon.  Bette is pretty sure it won't work, I disagree.  Typical rural Arizona, we found out that the local lady had a bad recommendation for the dog groomer, and so now we'll have to head up to Buckeye to PetSmart to get Busters nails  done- which is a good thing, we'll combine the trip with a Wal Mart stop to pick up provisions.  

Also stopped at Olson's IGA, where I looked for Alcohol free mouthwash, but didn't see it, and we bought some motorhome thingies, a hook affair for the shower, a soap dish that didn't work, and an extension for the water hook up.

Tomorrow will be a long trip, to Buckeye Az, for Busters Trim,  to Wal Mart for Groceries, then to the Post office to mail postcards.
