May 28th Did Fenway last night, rained out!

Took the 1234 train to Boston, arrived at 225.  Took the green line over to Park place, then to the state Capitol Building for a stamp. 

Then the green line back over to Fenway Park for a Red Sox/Twins game.  Got my first ball park passport stamp and book!

 

The famous "red seat" in the right field 38 rows up where Ted Williams hit a home run in 1948- 502 feet. 

 

Long story about the game.  Got there at 400.  Gates didn't open until 540.  It was a Ramirez bobble head night, so big crowd.  Scored the bobble head!  Rain delay before the game, and after the 3rd inning.  Heavy downpour!  Since train was leaving, and I didn't want to be stranded, I walked to Kenmore and took the subway back to North Station.  Got there at 930ish.  The train was originally posted to leave at 1030, but since it was a Sox home game, it didn't leave until 1125 pm.  Express train home, but arrived at Wells at 113 am.
