July 6th Fort Edgecombe Maine.

This was a really cool War of 1812 fort on the banks of the river-   As I mentioned before, Wiscasset was a big time shipping and commerce city, so it was a concern during the War of Independence.  The Fort is just across the river from Wiscasset.
