June 28th The Rains came and stayed, but we got to see Porter and William!

Continues to be a bit brisk-  stayed in the low 60's most of the day, and we had a good bit of rain-  2-3 inches they were calling for.  

Bette had made arrangements to meet for brunch with our pals Porter and William ( and Bexar too)  at the Maine Diner, which is sort of a tradition when we are in Maine-  They will be up here for a lot of the summer.  It was great seeing them and spending some time-  Porter will be off flying around a bit for a lot of the summer, but we will catch up to them again, at least over the winter down in Florida-  they are talking about heading out west, and we may meet up with them out there!  Yay!  Completely forgot to snap a photo while they were here :-((

Spent the afternoon fine tuning tomorrows trip, which is to Newburyport, Newbury, Rowley and Ipswich Mass.  Calling for clear and 72 degrees tomorrow.
