March 27th First few towns in Alachua County

First stop was about 6 miles away, a revisit to the town of High Springs
There were supposed to be two markers there, one was missing, and I turned in a new marker to boot, plus got a water tower revisit.

Missed this one, may go back and look for it
This was the marker I added, one for War Vets

Next was a trip on down to Newberry Florida

Here, there were 2 markers, a new marker to be added, and a stop at the nearby Dudley Farm National Register site- it is also a State Park, but I already had a stamp, but they didn't have a pin
Sides 1 and 2 of the Newberry Florida Marker

The Bartram Trail marker, this must be about the 10th one of these

Dudley Farm State Park, and also National Register

Next was about 10 miles down to Archer Florida, 2 markers there, and missed finding one:

Then, about 8 miles down to Bronson, Florida, for Bo Diddley's gravesite
Then about 30 miles over to Paynes Prairie State Preserve, which I enjoyed very much-  lots to learn do and see there, got a pin and a stamp

Then, a few miles over to Cross Creek for the Marjorie Keenan Rawlings State Historical Park

Last stop for the day was a marker in Hawthorne, Florida

Somewhere along the line, I also went to Grove City Florida and went to a National Register site, the Hawthorne Masonic Lodge.

Tomorrow is the towns of LaCrosse, Fairbanks, Waldo, Earlton, Melrose, Windsor, and Rochelle.
