March 26th Out with the River City Camper Group at Alachua

Left the house about 1030 this morning, then 82.2 miles over to Alachua Florida, which is in Alachua County.  Got 7.8 mpg on the way over.  Uneventful drive, did rain for a bit at Palatka, but sun is out now. 

We have a full hook up, 99.00 for the three nights.  

We'll be here for three nights, through Sunday morning.  Planning on covering a lot of territory in the county, including Historical Marker and National Register sites-  Be hitting the towns of High Springs, Newberry, Archer, Paines Prairie State Preserve, Micanopy, Evinston, Cross Creek, Marjorie Keenan Rawlings State Park, Island Grove, Hawthorne, Rochelle, Windsor, Melrose, Earleton, Waldo, Fairbanks, LaCrosse and Alachua.
