January 17 I see dead people #1- Edgefield SC Sen J. Strom Thurmond and his daughter, Nancy Moore Thurmond

Didn't realize on yesterday's visit that I was within a couple of blocks of the late Senator's final resting place, so I made the pilgrimage back today.  

The Senator and his daughter, who was tragically killed by a drunk driver while walking across the street when she was a student at USC, is buried next to her dad.

His daughter, as I said, lies next to him.  

His plot is in the rear of the cemetery, up against the fence line, backing up against a row of houses.
