We decided to advance our trip up to Maine by a day, so we left Hamilton at 415 this morning, good decision it turned out, because we ran into NO traffic on our way up. Didn't do any good, though, Moody Beach is probably oversold, and jammed- No prospect for us getting in the back it looks like- we are currently sitting in overflow, with no hook ups waiting to see what will develop. They are supposed to have 33 going out today, but 33 coming in as well. Not sure about tomorrow. Oh well. We arrived at about 1145, after a couple of pit stops and a fueling.
We also tried some different routing this time, instead of running up 684 to 84 then over, we ran straight down 287 to 95 on through Conn., then up 395 to 45.
GPS said 396 miles, total time moving 6:53, total travel time 8:31- overall avg 46 mph. moving avg 57 mph.
On July 6th, Cooper and I made it to the Mets/ Rangers game- bit hot, Mets won 8-4
So, we're in Maine for the next 9 days at Moody.
