Coop and I got an early morning start, and made good progress, and decided to press ahead and go ahead and get to Los Angeles a day early. About 405 miles today, but it went smoothly and quickly.
We hit Kings Canyon and Sequoia National parks, which involved climbing up to about 8500 feet in elevation, up narrow 10 mph switchback roads- saw some awesome scenery, then it was only 1115 or so so we ate a quick lunch, then decided to try for LA. We also got to the Cesar Chavez National Memorial in Keene, Ca. We pulled into an In and Out Burger at 615- and into the hotel at 7. Glad we decided to go for it- tomorrow we will rest up, turn the rental car back in, and do a load or two of laundry.
