May 29th A 101 mile ramble through Putnam County today....

I had planned 7 stops today, A Florida State Park, Ravine Gardens, which would also get me a stamp for Dunn's Creek State Park, A Marker at Ravine Gardens, 2 Markers outside of Palatka, the Welaka National Fish Hatchery, another Marker at Mount Royal, and then a Marker for A Phillip Randolph.  As usual, I added a few stops, a marker in Hastings for being the Potato Capital of Florida, 4 post offices, and a water tower and a shrine.   All in all, a pretty good day, plus I got a National Register Site in Palatka at the Railroad Station.   I also got leads on several more stops to make around Hastings, plus some good touring materials for Putnam county at the Chamber of Commerce.  It never ends!!!!!
