Another $150. to local knowledge....

On Saturday when we got back from town, the darn garage door wouldn't open. It hummed.

A quick check with Frank, the local Mr. Knowzit in the neighborhood, revealed that the drive gear was shredded, and sure enough, it was. Seems the former owner didn't have it properly adjusted or installed.


A call to the Sunrise Garage Door folks sent us Joe the door guy, and we will be richer and poorer both for the experience. Joe showed us the shredded drive, see above, and off to work he went.

Now she wants screens for the garage door also. That's another $900.
