Rode down to Orlando yesterday with a local Veteran's group that includes several guys who live in Coquina- I have sort of latched on as their publicist... we stopped at a High School and made a presentation of a video that one of the fellows had produced, and one of the featured vets was the guy speaking in the photos, Lt. Col. Jim Vanairsdale, who served in Korea and knew of my dad, so its cool to work and travel with this bunch. After lunch, we made a presentation at the Orange County History Center for a brown bag lunch group of about 60 folks. They are just starting a third video in their series, which will deal with the Viet Nam War era and its vets. I'm looking forward to working with the group.
