Saturday night at the Gamble Rodgers Benefit Concert

Went with Frank and Kathy Schmidt to the Benefit Concert for a fellow named Gamble Rodgers, who was a local talent who died a few years back when he was trying to save a fellow who was swimming here in town. He was apparently quite a musician and songwriter. We spent 3 hours at Flagler Auditorium listening to some very talented folks play. The music was a mix of bluegrass, country, hillbilly, and folk. The last group was a trio of lady singers and they were our favorites. Very very talented players and beautiful singers. The annual festival will be when the Hartmans are in town next May, perhaps we can go visit while they are here, it will be on a Fri-Sat-Sunday downtown.

This morning we made a quick run to the Publix for papers, the flea market for nothing, and to Home Depot to return some excess grout from the tile job.

We are both totally wiped out, and have and will be napping for most of the day I expect.
