Landscaping views, part 1.

Couldn't get the photos to upload in order, so bear with me.... below is the "new" front yard. Underneath is the "Old." The old yard was a complete mismatch of plantings, and had lots of old growth ground cover that had never been tended. It also had a nice batch of weeds, and too much shade from the big pin oak in the front yard. The guys stripped out all the old mismatched stuff, and then worked on the beds, and then sprayed for weeds. They'll be back next week or so to replant what's left over, and also then re-sod the front, we think. You have to have "St. Augustine grass" down here, since the soil is so sandy.

How it looked before... really crappy, actually, and totally mismatched.

Here's the back of the house, "after." They also sprayed for weed control here, and we'll mulch it next visit.
