Another Power Shopping Day with Miss Bette

The Power Shopping Queen prowling the aisles of Home Depot, searching for the right glue for a project she has in mind.......
Today, another beautiful 75 degree day, started out with what is becoming the routine for me, the morning coffee club.... somewhat restricted in membership today, since a lot of the guys had been henpecked into duty for the massive yard sale, mentioned below.... Got home around 0930, then a bowl of cereal and berries, then Frank came by and supervised the disassembly of the garbage disposal where we learned that nothing was clogged, then we headed out for Power Shop. We headed to the Island in search of an alleged second stained glass shop, it turned out to not to be in business. We then hit another antiques shop just before the Bridge of Lions, nothing there of need... Then over to the Home Depot for supplies for a project Bette has announced then to Chick Fil-A for a very good lunch, then to D&L Stained Glass for a specific piece of glass Bette needed for her project, and a new tool, it turned out also.
Now currently back at Las Brisas, catching up with the US Mail, thanks Tina, and computer stuff. Probably a nap, then Dan and Kippy are headed over at 6 for spaghetti and games (Watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy on TV), a long-standing tradition.
Tomorrow our dance card is full, there is a car show in the morning up at the county Fair Grounds, a birthday bash out on the Beach, The Old City Farmer's market out at the lighthouse, and something called the Lincolnville Festival up at the Francis Field uptown. Sunday is a big Veteran's Day presentation up at Flagler Auditorium, after lunch with Dan and Kippy at Village Inn.
No old fuddy-duddy retirement for us, no sir!!!!!!
