Just 89 miles today down I-65 to MM 168 and the Woods RV Park, where we've stayed 3 times before. Nothing fancy at all, gravel sites with 50 amp next to the Interstate, but they have a nice new bathhouse/shower room. $16.70 with Passport.
We stopped at Sun View RV to see if we could have the air conditioning worked on, and it being Saturday, they only had one fellow on duty, and he was booked for hours, so no luck. He gave me the phone number for Camping World in Robertsdale Alabama, about 180 miles down the road, and we made an appointment for 8 am on Monday. They will do the diagnostic work, and we'll go from there. We may be there for some time if there is a complete replacement of the unit, pending what parts they may or may not have in stock. We'll go ahead over to Pensacola and take care of our business there while they are taking a look. I may just send Bette to do what we have to do, and I may stay with the coach.
We had reservations at Styx River for three nights starting Sunday night, be we may just go ahead and stay at Camping World for convenience sake. It's about an hour or so from Pensacola, they said.
Good news, we found out there is a three year warranty on the unit- So repairs will be made under warranty.
We're about ready to go out and stop at Wal Mart to see if we can find a lightweight cover for the bed, since its so hot. Then I think we'll wander uptown and mosey around, have a nice early dinner, then we have tickets for the game tonight at the Montgomery Biscuits. They have a really unique ball park, and its complete with train tracks in the back of it as you can see from the aerial shot above.
Hot, Hot Hot. Really hoping to get the AC fixed asap.
