Back home, vegging

Been pretty much hanging out at the house not doing much since our return, which explains no posts for a few days. Bette headed on down to Florida for a gal-pal week with her friends Val and Martha. She says the house is in good order, and has been enjoying down time with her pals. I've pretty much been catching up with reading, watching the boys, and going out for breakfast and such. Tonight, we're heading over to O'Charlies for the Thursday night gang meeting. Bette is due back tomorrow. I'm also taking the motor home over to Jody's RV to see about the air conditioning- seems it won't blow cool air- hoping its just an electrical relay gone bad.

Next Monday, I have an appointment with the eye doctor, which will be a premiminary to my surgery on the 28th. Hoping we can get a road map as to what the entire process will be, so we can line up our trip to Dallas, where we'll be headed after all that process is done, so we can get our leaks finally fixed.

Also thinking about maybe going to Lake Medina, so we can visit in the Texas Hill Country, and then maybe swing by Rockport Texas then head on to Florida, resting up for a while before we head on to Beaufort in October.

Of course, all these plans are in jello- We've learned not to plan ahead further than a couple of weeks out, it seems!
