A visit to RCR racing, and new trip plans

Drove over to Welcome, NC this morning to visit the Richard Childress Racing Museum. This was the outfit for Dale Ernhardt and they also have two other teams today. Nice visit, pricey though. Then, we headed over to a big flea market and spent two hours wandering. Then stopped by an RV dealer to pick up some drains we needed for the Nova.

We've spent the last couple of days trying to align the summer vacation trip with the grandsons, and after much frustration trying, we lucked up and got into Hershey Park for three nights starting June 9th. So, rather than make the Texas swing, we'll head on up to Hershey starting June 7th it looks like. We'll do Advance, then Hershey, then we'll stop at Sturbridge, Mass., then over to Moody Beach Maine, where we are planning to do an extended stay for up to a month. We may also head on up to Ellsworth, ME, and may also visit Hampton Beach NH, which are all on our favorite New England places list. That will give us time to visit with our friends the Williamsons at Meredith, NH, and also visit friends in the Belgrade Lakes ME area. So- we're set. Probably we'll leave Greenwood about 7 June or so, and stay out until maybe August 1st we'll play that by ear. New England in the summer is our favorite place to be.
