Visit to Appomattox Court House

The house on the left is a reconstruction of the Court House at this National Park. It is a little group of houses that has been rebuilt to the way it was back in 1865. Nice park to visit- Got a pin and our Passport stamped. You walk everywhere here.

This is the big lake at the Thousand Trails here at Lynchburg. Our site has no sewer, only 30 amp, and barely got sattelite.

The temperatures have warmed up to 85-87 during the day and low 60's at night, welcome back to the South! Muggy muggy days. We'll have a free day tomorrow, then head on down to Advance NC. We also went to downtown Appomattox today and I found three books on FDR for $7.00.

As we look outside just now, the green/yellow blobs on the map are headed towards us- they are calling for scattered showers this afternoon, and they look like they're on the way.
