We left Nappanee early this morning in a drizzle, which later became a driving rain storm. We noticed the sign by I-69 for the Auburn, Cord, Duesenburg museum, in Auburn, Indiana. These were outstanding autos made in the late 20's and 30's and they enjoyed the prestige of the brand, it's easy to see why, they were some kind of auto... Well made, quite luxurious, and marketed to the well to do. The photo below is the museum itself, which was part of the original factory.

Here are just a few of the over 100 cars they had on display. They also had a wonderful gift shop, and I got a pin and postcards for the boys.


This was a terrific tour back into yesterday. Bill, if you're reading the blog, I wonder if you ever made the trip here....
